How to use the ‘pinch-to-zoom’ feature?

Upon entering the video player, users are greeted with a pop-up notification highlighting the feature, ensuring everyone knows how to make the most of the enhanced playback tool.

This user-friendly addition marks another step in X’s efforts to provide a more immersive video experience and brings a new level of precision to video viewing,

The “pinch-to-zoom” feature is part of X’s broader initiative to cater to video-centric consumption habits, a shift observed across major social networks.

From longer video uploads to improved playback features, X is doubling down on creating a video-friendly ecosystem for its users.

According to Social Media News, X CEO Linda Yaccarino highlighted the platform’s transition to a “video-first” focus back in January, setting high expectations for a surge of exclusive video content.

As part of its broader push to lean into the video-first approach, X continues to recognize the shift in user habits toward richer and more dynamic content consumption.

However, the vision seems to have stalled, with many planned content deals either failing to take off or losing traction over time.
