It’s a tight battle among several K-pop acts – including Seventeen, aespa, NewJeans and IU – who are nominated for several categories at the 2024 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA).

The annual awards ceremony, which celebrates the best of K-pop in the year, will be held on Nov. 21 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California, in the US, as well as the Kyocera Dome in Osaka, Japan, on Nov. 22-23.

The nominees were selected based on the music and promotional activities that ran from Oct. 1, 2023, to Sept. 30, 2024.
